We’re looking for a summer intern to join our Motion SW Development team, where you’ll be working on cloud-native software for vehicle energy management.
The Motion SW Development team specializes in the development of advanced vehicle motion control and energy management functions, encompassing system design, function development, and software engineering for both embedded and cloud-based solutions. It employs AI/ML technologies to improve vehicle stability and energy efficiency. It is responsible for creating toolchains and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software integration and deployment, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery. The team also develops Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems to provide robust testing environments for verification and validation of software functionalities. Additionally, the team focuses on designing functional safety solutions for vehicle motion control systems, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards while driving innovation in automotive software and control technologies.
What You'll Do:
This internship is centered around developing solutions for Electric Vehicle (EV) Energy Management systems. The primary focus is on cloud-native software development using Go and Python programming languages. Additionally, the role involves supporting the software development team in improving software quality and expanding the toolchain capabilities. The internship will involve the following tasks and activities:
- Collaborate with the software team to develop and verify energy management software modules.
- Create comprehensive software detailed design and document them.
- Develop automated testing frameworks to improve software reliability and performance.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of energy management solutions on cloud platforms.
Who You Are:
- Currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science, System Controls, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Proficiency in Python and Go for cloud-native software development
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization tools (Docker)
- Knowledge of EV Energy Management principles

Internship Information
- Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. No relocation support is offered.
- Salary: Paid at a fixed hourly rate.
- Duration: You need to be available for a full-time internship. The start date for this internship will be mid-June and ongoing for about 10 weeks. Details are to be discussed with the recruiting manager.
- Requirements: You need to have a legal permit to live and work in Sweden.
