We’re looking for a summer intern to join our Concept Development team. Our team is at the forefront of innovation, creating the vehicles of tomorrow. We explore cutting-edge technology, market possibilities and bold ideas to develop mobility solutions on a global market.

With a versatile platform and the latest advancements in automation and electrification, we design vehicles for both private users and ride-hailing services—whether driven by humans or fully autonomous. This is where future mobility takes shape.

This summer, we are looking for an analytical, passionate and forward-thinking individual to join us. If you have strong analytical skills, interest in creating great user experience, and a drive to innovate, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience and contribute to real-world vehicle development.

What You'll Do:

The Concept Development team, together with Physical User Experience, is exploring how future mobility can become more inclusive and meaningful for everyone. You will help us investigate how to create a great riding experience for passengers with hidden impairments and conditions, remove barriers in today’s shared and private taxi services, and shape design principles for future vehicles, both driver-operated and fully autonomous.

• Identify and analyze hidden impairments and conditions, such as hearing and visual impairments, neurodivergence, and other situations where individuals may have heightened needs regarding safety, independence, privacy, and integrity/dignity.
• Create personas and user journeys to map out pain points, as well as spoken and unspoken needs.
• Develop a first draft of design requirements and guidelines focusing on vehicle attributes, ergonomics and digital user experience.
• (Optionally, create design concepts compatible with – or with minimal adjustment to - current vehicle designs).

Who You Are:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (B.Sc or M.Sc) in Design and Product Development or possibly Mechanical Engineering
• Have completed relevant courses in ergonomics and user friendly product development.
• Skills in Catia or other CAD software are a plus but not a must.
• Skills in Figma are a plus but not a must.

Internship Information

• Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. No relocation support is offered.
• Salary: Paid at a fixed hourly rate.
• Duration: You need to be available for a full-time internship. The period for the summer internship is between 1 June – 31 August. The start and end date are to be discussed with the recruiting manager.
• Requirements: You need to have a legal permit to live and work in Sweden.
